Dr. Elizabeth Mukherjee was born in India and with her family, moved to England and then to Kansas City at the age of 10. She attended Blue Valley Northwest High school and then graduated from University of Kansas in 2009 with an undergraduate degree in Molecular Biosciences. Her interest in helping others expanded during her time at KU where she was a member of student council for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences as well as volunteering with multiple organizations including spending time in Moshi, Tanzania.
After graduation, Dr. Mukherjee went on to join the Peace Corps in Rwanda where she ran a rural health clinic. Upon her return she worked as a pharmacy technician and in 2013 matriculated at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies graduating in May of 2017. She hopes to pursue a residency in Family Medicine with a Fellowship in Obstetrics.
Dr. Mukherjee enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking, volunteering at the animal shelter, and watching and playing sports.
