Dr. Thompson specializes in Family Practice.
His
training encompassed all ages and all aspects of family practice, and ,
although obstetrics is no longer a part of his family practice, he
continues to care for patient’s of all ages.
Dr.
Thompson truly enjoys taking care of families and has considered it a
privilege to take care of several generations of the same family during
his tenure at the Nevada Medical Clinic.
F. L. Thompson, M.D.
Dr. Thompson has
been practicing medicine for 25 years. He graduated from the
University of Kansas Medical School and has been involved in family practice
since that time.
He is active in the
United Methodist Church, and Rotary International. Additionally
he has served on the boards of the Salvation Army and the Nevada Area
Economic Development Commission.
Dr. Thompson and his wife, who is now a retired
school nurse, have four children. In his spare time he enjoys golf and
fishing
